Fresh numbers every time
Our server hands your device a random starting number and the two grids are built from it, so nobody can work out the answer ahead of time.
What your device does for thirty seconds, how we know it really did it, and what you get for it.

The test runs right in your browser. Your graphics chip splits the multiply into small blocks and works on all of them at once.
We time the work many times over and keep the middle result, so one hiccup can't drag your number down.
When you finish, the server asks for 32 numbers from your answer and works them out itself. One wrong number and the run doesn't count.
Your score blends your speed from rounds one and two, times ten. Then it loses points if your device slowed down in round three, up to half. Faster and steadier means higher. Speed is in TFLOPS: trillions of sums a second.
Every run that passes pays a little. The daily limits keep it fair, so one person with a script can't take the whole budget.
Your device model, your scores, a random id made by your browser, the wallet you add, and a scrambled version of your internet address for the daily limits. If you join the waitlist, your email too, used only to tell you when Earn Mode opens. No accounts, no tracking cookies.
